We are excited to be partnering again with Glen Acres Baptist Church with the Kamp Inn retreat for students in grades 3-8.
Pastor Matt Galbraith from Glen Acres (son of John and Betty), is asking if people from Trinity are available to volunteer for part or all of the weekend. There are a few ways we can help, so check out below.
Kamp Inn Volunteers meeting will be held on Saturday February 8 @ 9:00am (at Glen Acres). The meeting should only be around an hour and snacks, coffee and juice will be provided.
Help for part of the day on Saturday, Feb 22 with Electives
The electives fill the bulk of the day on the Saturday of Kamp Inn. There are five timeslot for electives. Time frames (approximately): 10:30-12, 2-3, 3-4, 4:15-5, 5-5:45.
The students get to select the activities they want to do. These are a chance for adults to share some hobbies and passions with the kids.
To help with electives you only need to be there when the elective is running. You do not need to be an approved worker, as you are not supervising the kids.
This is a list of electives Matt is planning, please let us know if you would like to help.
Help the whole weekend as a Group Leader
Matt is looking for at least one more adult male leader to stay and connect with the students for the whole weekend. To serve as a group leader you need to be an Approved worker with Trinity's Abuse Prevention Plan.
We need people to help make the meals. You could help with some or all, depending on your availability. You do not need to be an apporved worker to make the meals.
